This Creator Agreement & Payout Policy ("Agreement") forms a part of our Terms of Service and governs the relationship between Babylon and its creators ("Idols"). By registering as an Idol on our platform, you agree to these terms.
You receive 100% of the earnings from your admirers.
"Gross earnings" is the amount of money received by you from your earnings from an Admirer for a payment to your profile.
While Babylon does not take a commission from Idols, certain unavoidable costs are added to your Gross Price to calculate amount paid by an admirer. These include:
Your "Net Earnings" are equal to the gross earnings. This is the final amount that will be added to your payable balance.
To receive payouts, you must connect a valid Stripe account in your Idol dashboard. You are responsible for keeping your Stripe account information accurate and up-to-date. Babylon is not liable for any lost payments due to incorrect or outdated information provided by you.
Payouts of your available balance are processed on a monthly basis or the one you set in Stripe.
Your relationship with Babylon is that of an independent contractor. You are not an employee, partner, or agent of Babylon.
You are solely and fully responsible for reporting your income and paying all applicable taxes (including income tax, VAT, social security contributions, etc.) on the earnings you receive through Babylon, in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Babylon will not withhold any taxes from your payouts. We will provide you with a summary of your earnings as required by law. You may be required to submit necessary tax forms (e.g., W-8BEN/W-9) through our payment processor to receive payouts.
If your account is terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service or other policies, Babylon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to forfeit any outstanding or pending earnings in your account.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes, and your continued use of the platform as an Idol after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
